OwnerCare was recently awarded the 2016 Gold Stevie Award for Relationship Management and has also been recognized in the 2016 Utah Innovation Awards. It also won the 2015 Dealer Marketing Technology Leadership Award in the Service Marketing category.
OwnerCare is a mobile-first responsive web application designed to allow customers to authorize auto repairs and learn more about a technician's recommendations related to their repairs. As part of a two member team I coded CSS3 transitions and animations, wrote AngularJS, and utilized local storage for excellent performance on mobile devices.
I designed a new corporate logo and a custom corporate TrueType font called Solera for AutoPoint that was revealed on January 4, 2016.
This new logo is part of a comprehensive re-brading strategy merging DMEautomotive, CIMA Systems, Service Dynamics, and TitleTec under one company name. The logo also ties into the Solera Holdings, Inc. brand with custom typographic design.

I supervised and designed the entire user experience for AutoPoint's new flagship software product, MultiPoint 2. I also created Motif, a theme for Twitter Bootstrap, to support future AutoPoint applications.
This new web-based automotive inspection and repair tool gives franchise automobile dealerships a powerful tool to track work in progress and provide their customers with accurate and quick service.
I created a custom mobile responsive WordPress theme for MODERE that integrates social media sharing tools into a simple and clean system. I even shot the photograph of the dishwasher in the article above. Yep, those are my dishes.
MODERE is a modern lifestyle brand, selling a wide variety of beauty, nutrition, and home products to customers that are safety conscious. Their products are derived from natural ingredients and they avoid using a comprehensive list of dangerous chemicals commonly used in household and beauty products.

Jennifer Thomas is an award-winning pianist, violinist, and classical crossover composer. Jennifer asked me to design her web site in late 2012 as she was finishing her new album, Illumination. Her amazing compositions and new web site led her to earn 12 nominations and awards over the next two years, including Top Female Artist of the Year from Classical Crossover UK.
When Apple released the new iPhone in 2008, Microsoft began working on a new version of Windows Mobile. Instead, they created an entirely new mobile operating system called Windows Phone 7.
I joined Microsoft under contract through Aquent to do design integration work on Windows Phone 7 and 7.5 during a 14 month period. My primary responsibility was writing custom XML UI code for the Office apps on the phone (Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Excel) as well as providing extensive UI code support for Local Scout, part of the Bing apps that were included on the phone.
Just after graduating from Seattle Central Community College I took one of my student projects to a local restaurant and they liked my design so much they paid me to put it up to replace their previous web site.
This site was designed in 2010 using new layout techniques provided by CSS3 that were just becoming available at the time. The site looked amazing in Internet Explorer 7, 8 and above. I shot all the photos of the food, locations, and catering for the web site.
